The Bible is the basis for True Christianity
"For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:" (1 Corinthians 15:3-4, KJV)
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." (John 1:1, KJV)
"And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God." (Luke 4:4, KJV)
The first thing we wish to look…draw your attention to, is the infallibility of God's Word. God keeps His Word, to the letter. And tonight we want to fasten our thoughts on that, that God keeps His Word. We can rest assure of anything that God has said in His Word, to be the Truth. And faith does not rest upon the shifting sands of man's ideas or man's theology, but it has its final resting place on the unmovable Rock of God's Eternal Word. [57-0420 - THE ENTOMBMENT]
Therefore, if there's any contradiction, that anyone would think that the Scriptures contradict each other, that's an error. There is no Scripture contradicts a Scripture. The—the contradiction is where that maybe It contradicts our way of looking at It, but It doesn't contradict Itself. [57-0915M - HEBREWS, CHAPTER SIX #3]
When God first set the human race in…on earth, He told them they live by His Word. Now the Word of God is like a chain, you're passing across hell with It; and its chain is only its best at its weakest link, and God wants us to keep every Word of It. Now that was the first of the Bible; just to break one Word, plunged the human race into a darkness of death.
Jesus came in the middle of the Bible, and He said that, "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every Word." Not just part of the Words, or ninety-nine out of a hundred; but every Word, just like Eve and Adam was.
And in the last of the Bible, Revelation 22:18, He said that, "Whosoever shall take a Word out of This, or add one word to It!" [65-0123 - "BROKEN CISTERNS"]
On Sin
"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:" (Romans 3:23-24, KJV)
"Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:" (Romans 5:12, KJV)
"Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me." (Psalms 51:5, KJV)
"He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy." (Proverbs 28:13, KJV)
On Judgement
"For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?" (1 Peter 4:17, KJV)
"Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?" (Ezekiel 33:11, KJV)
"Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years." (Revelation 20:6, KJV)
On the End Time Ministry
"And it shall come to pass in that day, that the light shall not be clear, nor dark: But it shall be one day which shall be known to the LORD, not day, nor night: but it shall come to pass, that at evening time it shall be light." (Zechariah 14:6-7, KJV)
"Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets. The lion hath roared, who will not fear? the Lord GOD hath spoken, who can but prophesy?" (Amos 3:7-8, KJV)
Previous Biblical End Times
"And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all. Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed." (Luke 17:26-30, KJV)
End Time Prophecy
"But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased." (Daniel 12:4, KJV)
"Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD: And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse." (Malachi 4:5-6, KJV)
And Jesus answered and said unto them, "Elias truly shall first come, and restore all things." (Matthew 17:11, KJV)
End Time Messenger
"And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;" (Revelation 3:14, KJV)
"But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets." (Revelation 10:7, KJV)
I want to make one more comparison between the Laodicean prophet-messenger and John, the prophet-messenger who preceded Jesus' first coming. The people in John's day mistook him for the Messiah. John 1:19-20, "And this is the record of John, when the Jews sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, Who art thou? And he confessed, and denied not; but confessed, I am not the Christ." Now this last-day prophet-messenger will have such power before the Lord that there will be those who mistake him for the Lord Jesus. But don't you believe it. He is not Jesus Christ. He is not the Son of God. HE IS ONE OF THE BRETHREN, A PROPHET, A MESSENGER, A SERVANT OF GOD. [CAB 09 - LAODICEAN - "9 - THE LAODICEAN CHURCH AGE"]
Now listen. This Angel come down from Heaven. See? The other, seven angels of the seven churches, was earthly messengers. But this Angel…All the Message is finished; the seventh angel winds up the whole thing. And this Angel comes not to the earth; He isn't a man from the earth, as the messengers to the church ages; that's finished. [62-1230E – IS THIS THE SIGN OF THE END, SIR]
End Time Anointed Ones
"For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect." (Matthew 24:24, KJV)
"Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation." (2 Peter 3:3-4, KJV)
At the junction of every time that I'm going to speak on in a few nights…Listen to this, brother. When all heaven opens up all hell opens up with it. The Bible said in the last days that they'd say, "Lo, He is in the desert. Lo, He's here. Lo, He's there," all kinds of signs and wonders. Said, "Believe it not, for as the lightning cometh from the east and shineth even to the west, so shall the coming of the Son of man be." [57-0306 - GOD KEEPS HIS WORD #1]
